• Use Instructions: 1. Carefully remove the RepiTemp Rheostat from package and inspect for any visual damage. If damage is noted then follow the warranty instructions.2. Plug the ReptiTemp Rheostat into your electrical outlet. Make sure the ReptiTemp control knob is at the low setting.3. Plug one or two rock heating devices or one or two overhead heat bulbs into the ReptiTemp Rheostat plug box. Do not plug one rock heating device and one overhead heat bulb into the ReptiTemp Rheostat as these two types of heating devices has different functions within your terrarium and not compatible being controlled together or any type of rheostat.4. Thermometer: To monitor the air temperature of your terrarium use a Zoo Med reptile Thermometer on the inside back wall of your terrarium.5. Check Temperatures: Overhead heat bulbs take approximately 30 minutes to heat up your terrarium. Check your thermometer after this time period and if higher temperatures are required then turn the ReptiTemp control knob to the medium setting. If after another 30 minutes you still need higher temperatures, then move the ReptiTemp control knob to the high setting.
